Christmas donation 2024 for the WDR 2 Christmas miracle

Our Christmas donation this year goes to the “WDR 2 Weihnachtswunder”. Patrizia, Nick, Noah and Timm handed over the donation check in the amount of € 2,400 to the “WDR 2 Weihnachtswunder” on Wednesday. The sum is made up of the proceeds from an employee barbecue and donations from Wöhler Brush Tech and Wöhler Holding.

The joint charity campaign by “WDR 2” (public radio station) and “Aktion Deutschland Hilft” (connection of German aid agencies for humanitarian aid) was hosted in Paderborn this year. The presenters from WDR 2 broadcasted live and non-stop for 5 days from the glass studio in front of Paderborn Cathedral.

This year’s motto was “Together against hunger in the world”. The member organizations of Aktion Deutschland Hilft and their local partners are active around the world where wars and conflicts are increasing hunger and the climate crisis is destroying livelihoods. In 2024, the charity campaign will also support the Tafeln (food charity for the needy) in North Rhine-Westphalia.
