Roller and disc brush trimming bench TU 900

The WÖHLER TU 900 is an operated machine for finish trimming roller brushes with diameters up to 1,000 mm. The proven and durable WÖHLER FS 930 trimming technology trims brushes with synthetic filaments, natural fiber or abrasive fill material reliably and with high accuracy to the set diameter.

The WÖHLER TU 900 standard configuration is designed for trimming brushes with cylindrical shape. If wavy contours are required, the WÖHLER TU 900 can optionally be extended by the template cutting function. Individual contour templates can easily be exchanged.

Trimming of disc brushes is also optionally possible.

Thanks to the simple, open design with roller drive, cutter support and sliding tailstock, roller brushes can easily be inserted and removed with an existing crane or forklift truck. The most common shaft and tube diameters are securely clamped and held externally and internally with the 3-jaw chuck on the tailstock. Alternatively, optional brush holding in a tip is available.

The three-sided safety fence and a light curtain on the access side protect against unauthorized entry into the work area during trimming. During setup, operator controls are available within the WÖHLER TU 900. The interrogated chuck guard on the tailstock meets even the requirements of the Type C standard for lathes.

The integrated RG 301 chip extraction system catches most of the chips directly as they occur on the WÖHLER FS 930 and conveys them outside the machine into a collection container.

The operator only changes the brushes and mechanically sets the desired diameters and machining lengths. The preselected settings such as cutter feed and brush speed are controlled electronically.
