Street sweeper roll brush segments with synthetic, wire or mixed fill
The production line for street sweeper roll brush segments with synthetic, wire or mixed fill and metal profile ring. The Automation of the process steps enhances efficiency and ensures a consistent and reproducible quality of the roll brush segments produced.
In the basic configuration the synthetic fill fleece is spread evenly onto the conveyor line by the filament picker AAB 932. The mat fusing machine can be optionally equipped with the automatic bundle Feeder BUD 510. Thanks to this additional automation the number of machine operators can be reduced and the Efficiency further enhanced.
The wire fill is produced on the wire crimping and cutting machine DA 400 and fed into the process. Up to 12 single wires can be fed from the coil rack CRH 1200. These are then crimped, cut and fed as a fleece on the PVM 100.
Mats with synthetic, wire or mixed fill can be produced according to requirements.
The alignment device BAV 500 serves in optimally feeding a uniform fill, flush on one end, to the fusing process. The roller cutter RS 10 E cuts off any protruding wire ends, resulting in a consistent, straight fleece edge.
The heart of the system is the fusing machine PVM 100, on which a heater line with flame control and blowing-out function guarantees the safe fusing of the filament mats. The use of an Extruder is necessary for realising an optimal bond between the synthetic and wire fill.
The special cutting unit CUT 200 automatically cuts the ready fused filament mat to the required length. This can then be manually taken from the mat removal station and used in the further assembly process.
The mat is assembled while still warm together with the metal profile ring as a segment in the assembly station HDT 30 for optimal durability. Flat or convoluted segment forms are possible. A range of different tooling sets is available and individual tooling forms can also be designed on request.
Final cutting is not required, ensuring loss-free production.
