Bad Wünnenberg school visit Wöhler

Pupils from the local secondary modern school visited Wöhler Brush Tech on 31 May as part of their career choice preparation.

36 pupils visited the company arranged by two of their teachers to find out more about the apprenticeships and traineeships offered. Following a welcome and short company presentation made by managing director Dipl.-Ing. Matthias Peveling the pupils were split into three groups and shown around the various departments by current apprentices and their trainers – technical design – mechanical production and industrial electronics.

In addition to the information on various career groups the pupils were also given tips on how to make a successful application and details on the current opportunities in the company. Following the plant tour an open Q&A round was held so that no question remained unanswered.

The organisers were pleased to have given the pupils an insight into careers in the industry and wish them all the best for their future.
