Educational sponsoring for Togo

What’s the connection between Togo, the smallest West African state, and Stockum in Germany’s Sauerland?

The answer is Heinrich Mainka and Marita Mutschler. Heinrich Mainka, who first travelled Togo seven years ago, has since been increasingly active in building a bridge between the two locations. On his first journey he made the acquaintance of Father Jan Piontek, who had already been active there for some years. This connection led to the archbishopric of Paderborn, where the first contact was made to Wöhler Brush Tech. In the meantime he has successfully inspired a whole number of people among his friends, acquaintances and the community of Stockum, like Marita Mutschler.

The current focus of aid is on a project for the blind and a training project for women and girls in West Africa. The two have recently returned from a journey to Sokode in the central region of Togo, where they presented the donations and captured some impressions in photographs.

Wöhler Brush Tech GmbH was most pleased to be able to support this great voluntary work by donating computers for use in these projects.
We hope that people like Heinrich Mainka and Marita Mutschler will continue in their commitments for such aid projects and wish all those involved every success!
