The high performance brush segment machine WÖHLER BSM 330 fully automatically produces ready pressed brush segments with crimped wire fill.

The wire is fed from a spool rack holding up to 22 spools directly to the cutting tool of the WÖHLER BSM 330. Once cut, the fill is transferred to the 3-station rotary table.

Servo motors enable precise millimeter precision wire feed. This reduces the amount of wire required and reduces wire waste when trimming. Changes to the filling length are made on the screen. The operator easily and quickly changes default values or calls stored prescriptions. Times for product set-up are noticeably reduced.

Eyelet and ring are automatically picked and fed to the WÖHLER BSM 330, allowing fully automatic production without operator. The machine can run for some time without refilling eyelets and rings, thanks to the bulk material reservoir.

The wire filling and eyelet pressing technology of the WÖHLER BSM 330 ensure highest performance and best wire Distribution with optimal radial alignment of the fill. As a result, a balancing quality can be achieved, which often allows the direct subsequent assembly, without additional balancing.

If combined with the optional trimming station WÖHLER STM 200 | STM 300, ready pressed brush segments can also be transferred and trimmed to the required final diameter without operator. The storage of the trimmed segments on workpiece carriers simplifies the subsequent logistics and automated assembly.

The brush segments can be directly further processed, the individual configuration of fill density and fill length making them the ideal base product for a great diversity of brushes.
